Sussex Gardens runs between Paddington station and the north-east corner of Hyde Park — the trains about four minutes from the door, the park much the same the other way. A quiet address for somewhere this central: a wide, tree-lined terrace of white stucco houses.
The hotel occupies two of those Victorian houses side by side, with the original wrought-iron balconies on the front rooms. Reception is staffed around the clock, and luggage can be left before check-in or after check-out.

Paddington is the artery — Heathrow Express every fifteen minutes, the Elizabeth line east to Bond Street and the City, plus the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines. Roughly three minutes on foot.
Lancaster Gate, on the Central line, is six minutes away on the Hyde Park side and Edgware Road ten in the other direction. Parking is available on site and is charged per day — call the hotel to reserve a space, as it cannot be booked online.
