Booking terms & conditions
These terms apply to rooms booked directly with Lancaster Court Hotel.
Your booking
A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. Please check it and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
Rates shown include VAT and are per room, per night, for the number of guests selected.
Payment
The payment terms depend on the rate you choose, and are shown on that rate before you book. Non-refundable rates are charged in full at the time of booking; flexible rates are not charged then — we securely hold your card to guarantee the room and payment follows the terms shown on the rate.
We may validate your card by pre-authorisation at the time of booking.
At the hotel, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and cash are accepted.
Cancellation
The policy that applies to your stay is the one shown on the rate you selected, and is repeated in your confirmation email.
- Flexible — cancel free of charge up to 72 hours (3 days) before arrival. Cancel after that point, or fail to arrive, and the full stay is charged.
- Non Refundable — charged in full at the time of booking. No changes and no refunds.

Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: From 15:00
- Check-out: By 11:00
Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
House rules
- Pets — Not allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs
- Children — 8 years and over
- Accessibility — No lift · 3 steps at the entrance · not suitable for wheelchair users
- Parties — Parties and events are not permitted, and the hotel does not accept hen, stag or similar groups.
- Smoking — Non-smoking throughout. A designated smoking area is provided outside.
- Parking — Parking is available on site at £45 per day, subject to availability. It cannot be booked online; call the hotel to reserve a space.
Damage deposit
A refundable damage deposit of £100 is taken by credit card on arrival. It is returned in full within seven days of check-out, subject to an inspection of the room; the cost of any damage or missing items may be deducted first.
On arrival
Photo identification and a credit card are required at check-in. Guests under the age of 18 may only check in with a parent or guardian.
Special requests
All special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. We cannot guarantee them.
